Move More Referral Instructor
Role within Jersey Sport: Marilee is a Move More Referral Instructor.
Employment history: Marilee joined the Move More Referral team in August 2003, at first mainly based at Fort Regent before moving to Springfield Gym delivering both CV and circuit classes. In 2008 she qualified in Cardiac Rehab phase 4. She then went on to achieve her specialist obesity and diabetes qualification, and in 2017 became a Level 4 specialist in mental health.
High level/sports related qualifications: As a First Aid instructor & assessor, Marilee also delivers and maintains training and certification to the rest of the team ensuring that all the instructors have the skills and confidence to react to any medical emergencies.
Hobbies: Outside of work Marilee is a voluntary first responder with the States of Jersey Ambulance Service and a medic with Normandy Rescue. She enjoys Kayaking and travelling.
