Business Administration Manager

Role within Jersey Sport: As Business Administration Manager, Faye’s role is instrumental in ensuring the effective operational management of Jersey Sport by ensuring its corporate, administrative, financial and governance processes are effectively managed. Faye is responsible for managing the corporate systems, controls, processes, procedures, and policies and ensuring their dissemination and practical application throughout the organisation.

Previous employment before Jersey Sport: For the past 3 and a half years Faye’s role was to improve departmental performance and ensure that the Government corporate values were realised across Children, Young People, Education Skills (CYPES) and to support the management and delivery of comprehensive Wellbeing, Health & Safety, Procurement, Online Safety, Information Security and Data Protection strategies for the Department.

Employment history: Faye has worked for the Government for 21 years, firstly as a member of the Corporate Training & Development Team before moving into Education as a School Business Manager and part of the Senior Leadership Team at Grainville School for 10 Years and Haute Vallee for 3 Years.

High level qualifications: Faye graduated from the University of Brighton with a BA Hons in Management, she went on to study for her CIPD Core Personnel & Development. Recently her role in CYPES required her to gain NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety.

Hobbies: Faye is extremely passionate about sport and the benefits it provides and strives to be as active as possible. Faye is a keen walker and has a target of at least 125 miles per month however she has to fit this around her daughter where you will often see her standing on the side of a netball court, football or cricket pitch!
