Laura Riley

Cycle Training and School Events Officer

Role within Jersey Sport: To plan and deliver cycle training and events in primary schools across the island.

Previous employment before Jersey Sport: Laura started working for Sports Development in 2010 as a Sports Development coach, teaching a wide variety of sports in primary schools in Jersey as well as delivering after school clubs and holiday courses. She then spent 2 years in America in a variety of sporting roles before returning to Jersey where she was re-employed into her previous role.

High level / sports related qualifications: Laura is a level 3 personal trainer, Level 2 football coach, Level 1 strength and sports conditioning coach and also holds a Chartered Management Institute Level 3 qualification in first line management.

Hobbies: Laura is a former Jersey Ladies footballer who competed in NatWest Island Games and Murattis. She has been a coach at the Jersey Girls Player Development Centre since 2009 and enjoys writing music, playing guitar and singing.
