Move More Cycle Rides are regular FREE cycle rides, led by our qualified ride leaders and designed to support islanders to increase their confidence when cycling, a great way to discover new routes, meet new people and boost your mental and physical wellbeing.
Move More Cycle Rides are regular FREE cycle rides, led by our qualified ride leaders. You can choose from Women Only rides or Mixed Rides which offer six ability levels. The rides are designed to help you build confidence on a cycle and are a great way for you to discover new routes, whilst helping you to improve your mental and physical wellbeing.
Each ride will be led by our friendly and qualified ride leaders who have undertaken the British Cycling Ride Leaders course and are experienced in supporting people throughout their journey.
You can choose a cycle ride level best suited to you by reading our level descriptions below:
Women Only rides are led by women, specifically for women. It doesn’t matter if you’re keeping fit, young at heart, wise beyond your years, or baffled by gears – every woman is welcome on a ride. You’ll discover new places to ride, gain confidence on your bike, make new friends and do things you never knew you could!
Mixed Rides are for islanders who would like to increase their confidence, fitness and ability on a bicycle. Our rides are social, fun and for any bike type and any fitness level.
When you register through the Move More Jersey Hub you will be provided with information on how to download the CYQL App which lists all of the Move More Cycle Rides available throughout the month. You can then select the rides you would like to join.
Please read the Move More Cycle Rides Terms and Conditions below before taking part in any of our cycle rides:
