Getting active can be difficult - let us help you make that first step! Our Move More Classes are friendly and sociable, held in local community venues and outside in parks across the island

We have a range of classes for you to try at community venues across the island. Take a look at the range of Move More Classes below!

No gym membership is required – simply register with us and we’ll call you to discuss your requirements and get you booked into our classes.

Our professional Move More Instructors will give you a warm welcome and help you to take that step to improving your health and well-being!

MOVE MORE CLASS TIMETABLE

Our classes are aimed at people who might need some encouragement to be physically active.  The classes are friendly, fun and sociable with small, supportive groups where exercises can be adapted to suit various fitness levels, so you can work at your own pace.

Before you attend your first class, you will need to register by completing the online registration form which you can find here:

Please ensure you complete the section on medical details and medication if relevant to you.  Once you have submitted your details, our Move More Jersey team will then be in touch to confirm your booking.

MOVE MORE CLASSES – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Activities Available

1. Move More Aqua Class

An effective low-impact pool-based workout to improve your fitness without putting stress on your body.

Monday and Friday afternoons

Adults: £5.50 per class, Seniors (over 65 years): £4.50 per class, Income Support: Free (evidence of a valid claim required - this needs to be submitted every 6 months)

Les Quennevais Swimming Pool

3. Move More Exercise Class

An all-round, functional programme with a mixture of activities, cardio and strength work.

Monday, Tuesday, Friday mornings, plus Wednesday afternoons and evening.

Adults: £5.50 per class, Seniors (over 65 years): £4.50 per class, Income Support: Free (evidence of a valid claim required - this needs to submitted every 6 months)

Zoom call, Springfield (Blue Room), Communicare, Salvation Army, Oakfield Sports Centre

4. Move More Mobility

This class involves both seated and standing body weight exercises, focusing on balance and strength.

Wednesday morning and Thursday afternoon

Adults: £5.50 per class, Seniors (over 65 years): £4.50 per class, Income Support: Free (evidence of a valid claim required - this needs to be submitted every 6 months)
